Dr Morteza Jafarinia is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, with extensive experience in psychiatry, including working as a Consultant Psychiatrist, across public and private mental health services in Australia and overseas since 2012.
Dr Morteza Jafarinia is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, with extensive experience in psychiatry, including working as a Consultant Psychiatrist, across public and private mental health services in Australia and overseas since 2012.
His main clinical interests include adult ADHD and ASD, depression and anxiety disorders, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, with a focus on comprehensive assessment, diagnostic clarity, psychoeducation and evidence-based treatment.
Dr Jafarinia provides a respectful, collaborative and patient-centred approach to care, working closely with patients, families, GPs and other health professionals to understand individual needs and develop tailored and practical management plans. He sees adults aged 18–65 years and consults in English and Persian.
